I made it.

My Year 12 graduation is this Wednesday and final preparations are beginning.
I went to Green with Envy to get the Lisa Brown dress mentioned in a previous post, tried it on, loved it and was about to buy it (well, technically speaking my mum was).
However at the last minute, I stopped her and decided that spending almost $600 on a dress was too much right now when that could possibly buy me half a plane ticket for my travels next year.
So, always the talented seamstress, she is making it for me instead. Having left for a holiday, it's only in the very very earlier stages but she reassured me the rope detail has gone away with her to be done and the dress will be sewed up and finished by Tuesday.

Now all I need is some jewelery!
