I know recently there has been an extraordinary lack of fashion-related blog posts for a blog that is primarily a fashion blog. Being without a tripod and friends to take my happy snaps means that very little images can be taken - I've considered approaching some of the well dressed Parisians to photograph them but my lack of French would make the process too complicated..we'll try that back on the streets of London in a couple of months!
And I promise to start exploring and photographing the markets this weekend..all in the name of research and not to add to my already overweight suitcase...
But something that is fast becoming a fashion accessory staple is the good ol' fashioned bike.
In London and Paris, I've seen them on almost every street I go to, but they're getting just as popular back on Melbourne streets.
The Paris bike hire scheme, Vélib, provides super cute bikes complete with baskets to hold flowers and baguettes (take note Melbourne bike share!) and you won't just find one or two tourists riding them - the Parisians love them too.
For those in Australia, I love Mojo bikes which give you the option to customise the bike to suit you, and we all know how much Melbournians love expressing their individuality.
Once I'm back home and employed again after becoming broke from this trip, I'll most definitely have to purchase one.
All I can add is - what are you waiting for?
Get yourself a bike and start riding!
Both images taken directly from velib.fr and mojobike.com.au respectively.

i like to share that simple one is that running your bike on old worn out pads or liners, or a brake that is not very effective can lead to disaster.Bikes Melbourne
