I do love a bargain as much as the next girl, and a large part of my wardrobe comes with the prices slashed as I believe the key to a great shopper is being able to hunt out the best price. This doesn't mean I'm telling you to go to Cotton On come Boxing Day and pick up 10 dresses for $1 each - don't forget the golden rule of 'quality over quantity'.
My number one tip for good quality clothes on a budget is to attend the warehouse sales for designers (brands such as Willow, Kirrily Johnston & Sass + Bide all have them).
For the last few years, I've dedicated one day twice a year to attending the Sass and Bide warehouse sale at Collingwood Town Hall.
Normally I've been to get jeans (you can expect to pay around $30-70) as I often found their clothes wouldn't fit into my style. However this year I was surprised to leave sans jeans and carrying some fabulous bargains on jackets and dresses instead.
This jacket was a mere $30 and the collar is divine. I think I was most taken by the simplicity of the design. It comes with a waistcoat attached underneath, which at first I was unsure about but when I'm wearing it unzipped I've decided I quite like it.

I love a good bargain! Great price for the jacket, I'm jealous!
