Breakfast at Tiffany's.

I can't think of many ways more glamorous to start a Friday morning than with Breakfast at Tiffany's, so along with a crowd of fashionable folk I was up bright and early to attend the LMFF National Designer Awards and also welcome the latest Tiffany & Co range: Rubedo 1837, which launched this week.

Designing a range of exquisite and timeless designs is not a new concept for Tiffany, but this time they've gone one step further and created an entirely new metal of which the collection is formed off - it's been named Rubedo.  
Managing Director of Tiffany & Co Australia, Glen Schlehuber, describes the metal as containing "the richness of gold combined with the brilliance of silver and the warmth of copper". In simpler terms this basically means all the best parts of jewellery metals combined into one.

The National Graduate Award this year went to Christopher Esber. With past winners like Romance Was Born & Josh Goot the competition is no easy win so a big congratulations to Christopher - but also to all the other finalists. For the remainder of the festival, all the finalists designs will be displayed at Tiffany & Co, 267 Collins St.

    Audrey Hepburn is my inspiration too. She is just simply beautiful especially in Breakfast at Tiffany’s – I can watch that movie over and over again :)
