What was once risqué is now a part of high fashion as working
garments that used to be designed for concealment into your outfit. However,
you're not trying to be Jessica Rabbit - instead, think about the slightly
naughty librarian, showing a flash of your lingerie under clothing that has a
structure of its own. If you get the combination right, there are very few
things sexier. The key is minimizing the lingerie effect to just a peek.
If you are on the more conservative side of this debate, try wearing
a good corset on the outside, with a men's style dress shirt underneath. Add it

beneath a tuxedo, or a silky white bra, with a slightly loose fit, under denim
in dark colors. Don't put something on that plunges or is too lacy. You're
looking for ladylike, remember, but you do want a flash of sexy to emerge.

about using a sheer blouse with a solid white collar and sheer material on the
torso. Wear a camisole underneath, and tuck it into a pencil skirt with a high
waist. If you want to give an androgynous look just a touch of femininity, a
camisole is the way to go.

you remembered to finish getting dressed, without looking as though you don't
know how to finish the job. You also want people to realize that you are
willing to spend as much money on your lingerie as you do on the rest of your

peeking out, make sure your skirt goes below your knee, because you want to
make people use their imagination. It's okay, and even ingenious, to have
a slight touch of bed head, but you also have to accessorize correctly with
jewelry. While the intrigue of potentially making a mistake dressing is sexy,
making enough mistakes to the point where it might be true just makes you look sloppy,
so walk the line carefully.
