Here's my pick of the bunch...
Dusk navy blazer/jacket: $150 from $300
French Connection black jumpsuit: $40 from $170
Talulah 'Pocket full of Sunshine' bustier: $45 from $160
Witchery 'Nicky' bag: $160 from $229
Bardot maxi dress: $30 from $139.95
I've got to the point where I almost never buy any clothes full price, unless they're already cheap, I happen to be interstate/overseas or I fall head over heels in love with them. My reasoning for this is because the chances are I probably won't wear it more than once. That bardot maxi? I purchased it early December and it's still hanging in the cupboard with tags on. However, because it was only $30, I don't care as much as I would have if I had paid $140.
Witchery is the perfect example of my rule. I find many of their clothes are not worth the money and are bound to go on sale. I make exceptions for things like this, which I know will sell out.
I also spend a long long time on ebay, and 60% of the time, I will find the clothes I've been lusting over in stores, at a fraction of the price. The talulah bustier I saw in stores was full price, but then I managed to grab it on ebay (with tags) for less than half price.
I also go to warehouse sales. All my jeans are Sass & Bide and all cost $30 each. I just wait for their warehouse sales and leave with bags of bargains. I would never go to their stores/DJ's and pay full price.
Sometimes you just have to be patient when trying to get a bargain.
Pictures to come.
