Home sweet home.

I've just spent the last few days in Sydney and am not happy to be back to reality, ha.
On night 1 we stayed at the Meriton on Pitt Street, on the 42nd floor. We had the most fabulous view of the Sydney Tower, GPO and the city below.
For the next 3 nights, we stayed in Walsh Bay, at a gorgeous apartment opposite the Sydney Theatre Company. We were supposed to stay here for the entire trip, however there was a mistake and the apartment had been double booked for night 1, leaving us at the Meriton (which was great).

Here are some photos from the trip....

View from the Meriton. I have to say it looked much nicer at night.

I put this up to remind me of my back pre-burn. I sit here now in agony for getting so burnt on Australia Day. It was worth it though, we sat at the Rocks for an hour listening to a wonderful girl group called 'Lady sings it Better'. If you can, try and listen to their music. I may post a video of them.

Night time view at Walsh Bay (from the 2nd floor). I had trouble photographing at night so excuse the bad pictures.

I took countless amounts of clothes with me yet on Australia Day I found this jumpsuit at French Connection for $39.95, marked down from $170!
It is by far one of the comfiest things I now own and I wore it for the next 3 days after getting burnt. I suggest you buy it if you can, it isn't on their website.

I may post more pictures later but my suitcase is calling me to unpack.

  2. Haha, my secret is that I'm actually ridiculously short but I have longish legs, which makes up for it.

Thanks for the lovely comments x
